Not worth it

The first time I hooked up this hose, it leaked profusely where the electrical cord enters the hose. I contacted Camping World and although I was well within the 90 day return period, all they would do is refer me to Camco. Both Camco and Camping World deserve zero stars on this product. I have yet to hear back from Camco, but I think the only good use for this hose is a trash can filler. I will think long and hard about ordering from Camping World again.

I had it for 3 months before it froze. It is not worth it.

Pros: Good length

Do not buy this Hose

I have purchased the hose and it froze up so I took it back. Camping World took it back with no fuss. I figured it was defective so I got another one. It was 20 Deg F this morning and I could not take a shower. The only way I can get it to work is too keep it flowing out of the facet, but then my gray water tank fill up and floods the RV or freezes in my sewer tube and then fills up the gray tank.

Pros: Good length

Freezes at 25 degrees, only 7 degrees below freezing

We've had this hose one month. It's our first full-time winter season. It seems to be a sturdy hose, which doesn't do much good if it freezes every time it goes below 25 degrees (which has been twice now). It's an ugly thing to wake up to at 5:00 AM when you are still working for awhile and not have a hot shower. Luckily we had drinking water in cartons and a gym at the office.

Pros: Heavy duty, Good length

Causes water to have bad taste and smell

Purchased this hose last fall so we would have water at the campground when the temps drop below freezing. Although the hose kept the water from freezing, it causes the water to have a strong plastic/chemical taste and smell. After the weather warmed up, we added a water filter but it did not remove the taste/smell. We do not recommend this hose.

Terrible warranty service

In less than 90 days in 45 degree weather, the hose leaks everywhere. I bought the extended warranty at the same time. I got nothing but run around to get replaced from Camping World. I will not buy anything from Camping World again! Buyer beware.

False advertising-hose freezes at 32 degrees.

I believe this company is falsely advertising this hose. It advertises it's good to -20 degrees. It can't withstand freezing temps at all.

Pros: Good length

Frozen hose

I have already replaced one hose when it wasn't even 20 days old due to it freezing at about 21 degrees. Now I have to take this one back at just 19 days old today because it has frozen up also at 20 degrees! The only reason that I will be getting one more is because I am in a bind and need water. As soon as spring comes, I will be taking this terrible water hose back and I will never buy this product again.

Pros: Good length

Does not work at all

It froze solid and did not work. We even wrapped the hose to hold in the heat. The low for the night was only 22 degrees, not -20 like it say it is supposed to work. I do not recommend this product.

Pros: Good length

I bought this hose to use during freezing conditions, obviously. The first time temperatures went below freezing, the hose froze solid. I exchanged the hose for a new one and again as soon as temperatures went below, the hose froze. I have it plugged into a GFCI outlet as recommended. I have a 50' homemade heated hose that is outperforming this hose on everything. I would not recommend this product.

Pros: Good length

I might as well have used a regular hose

I bought this hose knowing I would be traveling to very cold locations during a trip to the West Coast for the US. In Idaho, the entire host froze solid on the first night in 20-degree weather. The RV park had heated hose taps and water was flowing fine from it when I realized I had no water in the RV the next morning and checked each end of the hose. Sure enough, the end connected to the RV was frozen solid. I went back and double checked the instructions (put the thermostat end at the coldest location, which would be the RV since the water valve was heated), but the hose still froze solid and the LED in the electric plug was lit. I'll be returning this hose to Camping World at my earliest convenience! If anyone knows of any working alternatives, please drop me a line!

Pros: Heavy duty, Good length
